Haven’t done a destination showcase in a bit and I figured no better time than now, when there are so many amazing itineraries opening back up to us Americans. I’m going to share some Iceland cruiselust with you today, as I was supposed to visit last year. Also, there is a beautiful luxury itinerary that was recently released and I’m so excited to share that with you!
1. Here’s the 411
Luxury sailings roundtrip from Reykjavik for 10 nights, circumventing the island of Iceland. Only 5 sailings available (right now) sailing this July and August. Vaccine is required.
2. Where will you go
Ports include Flatey Island, Latrabjarg Cliffs, Patreksfjordur, Dynjandi Waterfall, Vigur Island, Siglufjodur, Akureryi, Husavik (anyone else a fan of Fire Saga?), Crossing Arctic Circle, Grimsey Island, Vopnafjordur, Hafnarholmi, Seydisfjordur, Heimaey, Vestmannaeyjar, and Surtsey Island.
3. What can I do there?
Iceland is all about natural beauty, and exploring or relaxing in it. Visit hot springs and waterfalls, go whale and puffin watching, and float in the geothermal pools. From the ship, zodiacs will also take you closer to the coastline to explore geological wonders and get closer up to wildlife.
4. What is the onboard experience like?
Gorgeous small ship experience aboard an expedition yacht with six star guest service. Michelin inspired dining and butler service. Solarium, spa, and fitness center to keep your mind, body, and spirit in shape.
